Siri op de iphone 4

De jailbreakgroep CD Team heeft afgelopen nacht een port van Siri voor de iPhone 4 uitgebracht. Het is mogelijk dat de port gebruik maakt van materiaal van Apple waar copyright op rust. De Siri-port werkt volgens CD Team op iedere iPhone 4 en iPod touch van de vierde generatie met iOS 5 of 5.0.1. Je moet wel een jailbreak uitvoeren om hem te installeren.

GreenPois0n Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1

 

Jailbreaken met greenpois0n RC5

1. Verbind je toestel via USB met de PC.
2. Sluit iTunes af als deze automatisch op wordt gestart.
3. Download greenpois0n van greenpois0n.com. of gelijk  Mac – Windows
4. Klik op de knop Jailbreak en volg de instructies op het scherm. Meer specifiek zul je gevraagd worden om eerst de Power-knop in te drukken, vervolgens ook de Home-knop in te drukken en tot slot alleen de Power-knop los te laten.
5. Je toestel zal opnieuw op worden gestart en de jailbreak zal daarbij worden uitgevoerd, je kunt dit proces dankzij de verbose modus volgen.
6. Je toestel zal vervolgens nogmaals opnieuw opstarten (zonder verbose modus).
7. Je toestel is nu gejailbreakt. Je kunt op het toestel de Loader-applicatie selecteren (een nieuw icoontje op je SpringBoard) en vervolgens Cydia installeren.
